Christmas Services at St Catharine's

Our lives are full of stories. Stories of how we came to be in Houghton. Stories of where we have travelled. Stories of how our families came to be. We have stories to tell each day of our lives. In the mundane, in the exciting and in the hard times. And as we enter this Christmas season other stories enter. As December arrives we tell stories of calender clashes, Christmas parties, empty stockings, late night shopping, Christmas spirit. But there is another story that is whispered this time of year. The story of a vulnerable baby. The promise of someone who would change the world forever. A King born in the ordinariness of a stable in a remote part of the world. An ordinary yet utterly magnificent story. Jesus, Immanuel – God with us. And my question for you this year is, what will you do with this ordinary yet magnificent story?

We have a range of services taking place at St Catharine’s church and we really would love for you to come and hear of this ordinary yet magnificent story.

With love
